Welcome to Broken for Intercession

What is our mission?

Broken for Intercession is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a global movement of prayer and compassion, guided by the Spirit of God and united in love for a hurting world. Our mission is to equip and empower families everywhere to live out their faith with purpose—becoming vessels of hope, healing, and restoration across cultures and communities.

Our work flows through two wings of ministry:

  • Prayer & Intercession – Standing in the gap for individuals, families, cities, and nations, believing in the transforming power of prayer.
  • Matthew 25:40 Missions – Putting faith into action by serving “the least of these” through tangible expressions of God’s love.

What is Our Future Vision?

Sierra Leone (Current Field)

We serve widows, orphans, the disabled, and vulnerable families through Gospel-centered outreach. Our teams distribute food, preach Christ, and provide transportation so families can attend church and grow in faith. Through education support, children in orphanages and at-risk communities receive school supplies, tuition, and mentoring—opening doors to a hopeful future.

Africa Expansion (13 Nations)

With prayer and obedience, we are preparing to expand into thirteen additional nations across Africa. In every nation, our mission remains the same:

  • Proclaim the Gospel
  • Feed the hungry
  • Care for widows, orphans, and the vulnerable
  • Establish education and trade-skill programs

Our vision is to raise a generation that is spiritually grounded, academically equipped, and economically empowered.

United States (Local Outreach)

We are praying and preparing to launch a food pantry to serve the hungry in our own communities—because the mission field begins at home.

Matthew 25:40 Education Fund

We are committed to educating as many orphans as possible around the world. Families and churches can sponsor a child from childhood through higher education—providing schooling, trade skills, and Christ-centered mentorship. This is a lifelong investment that breaks cycles of poverty and restores hope for generations.

Together, across nations and cultures, we serve Christ by serving “the least of these.”

Matthew 25:40 – Back to School Mission

Our Back to School program exists to restore hope and build futures for orphans and homeless children living in orphanages and vulnerable communities. In obedience to Matthew 25:40, we serve “the least of these” by providing access to quality education, vocational training, and higher learning—equipping every child with the skills needed to live an independent and dignified life.

Through this mission, children receive:

  • School supplies, uniforms, and tuition support
  • Trade skills for practical employment
  • Access to higher education and career pathways
  • Mentorship rooted in Christ’s love

Our Education Fund also enables families around the world to “adopt” a child through sponsorship—walking with them from childhood through higher education. This lifelong partnership transforms not only a child’s future, but entire generations.

By investing in education, we break cycles of poverty, restore identity, and raise a generation empowered to thrive—spiritually, academically, and economically—for the glory of God.

Matthew 25:40 Mission Africa

At Rise Mission, we bring the love of Christ to vulnerable communities across Africa by meeting both spiritual and physical needs. Through Gospel-centered outreach, we distribute rice and essential supplies to widows, orphans, and individuals with disabilities. We proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in every community we serve and provide transportation so families can attend nearby churches, encounter God’s presence, and become rooted in faith.

Our mission is to restore dignity, ignite hope, and lead hearts to Christ—feeding the hungry, lifting the broken, and connecting lives to the transforming power of the Gospel.

Matthew 25:40 Mission USA

Locally, we are praying and preparing for a food pantry in the United States to meet the needs of the hungry in our own communities.

Once a year, we host a Community Worship Night, inviting churches across denominations to gather as one body. This evening of unity and worship serves both as a fundraiser for our mission work and as a powerful expression of Christ’s heart—that His people would be one.

At Broken for Intercession, prayer fuels action, and compassion gives prayer a voice. Together, we are building bridges of faith, unity, and service around the world.
